This is probably a controversial idea but I'll throw it out there as food for thought. So many pitchers in baseball are having Tommy John surgery these days. Oftentimes they return pitching more effective than they were before their injury. If a minor league pitcher has been struggling for years might having the surgery, even though he's not injured, make him better? Something to ponder. If you're even considering something like this always consult a doctor and familiarize yourself with all the risks involved.
